Faced with an aging intranet built on out-of-date technology, American Cancer Society (ACS) started a major overhaul to rebuild and unify its myriad sites. As the largest voluntary health organization in the US, ACS aimed to create a site that would support employees and volunteers alike.
Creating an Award-winning Intranet
ACS partnered with Neudesic to define the ultimate goal of Society Source: to increase user adoption. Achieving that goal required a new site structure, a refresh of site content, and the addition of new and inclusive tools to drive users to the intranet. Society Source now ranks as the "most useful" of ACS’s eight internal communication channels. Click on the categories below for highlights of this award-winning intranet project.
