Shantanu Sarkar

Shantanu is responsible for Neudesic’s innovation consulting capability, focused on helping customers develop strategies for deriving business value through innovative use of technology.

​He is also responsible for Neudesic’s line-of-business solutions and offerings in analytics, visualization, and social collaboration, based on Microsoft technology and SAP ERP.

Prior to joining the Neudesic team, Shantanu spent more than twenty years at Microsoft in individual technical contributor and business management roles. Most recently, he was Microsoft U.S. Consulting Services CTO for the Business Productivity solution areas based on Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange, Lync and Project Server, in the cloud on Office 365, on-premises, or in a hybrid environment.

Shantanu has extensive experience designing and implementing a variety of business automation solutions in diverse industries, including healthcare, real estate, financial services and retail. He began his IT career at Burroughs/Unisys as a software engineer in mainframe operating systems and high volume transaction processing.

Shantanu holds a Master of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. He currently resides in Irvine, Calif.
