SCHEDULE DEMO Watch the walkthrough video now FAQs for TachyonGPT: the ChatGPT Extension for Azure DevOps Why did you make TachyonGPT? We knew our customers were spending a lot of time "bouncing around" between Open AI, ChatGPT and Azure DevOps platform. We wanted to make things simpler for them, and reduce the amount of manual work that was going into their day-to-day. Now all of these tools are available in one place - thanks to the extension we built! How much does this OpenAI/ChatGPT extension cost? Nothing! It's free. Where can I get TachyonGPT? The Microsoft Azure Marketplace! Visit our page here. https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Neudesic.TachyonGPT What do I need to do to get started? First you'll need to get TachyonGPT from the Azure Marketplace. Beyond that, all you'll need is your Azure OpenAI or OpenAI API Key. Link TachyonGPT from the Azure Marketplace with TachyonGPT from the Azure Marketplace Is your extension cloud-only, or can it be deployed on prem, on local Azure DevOps servers? TachyonGPT was built for the online version of Azure DevOps. We can build for on-prem needs, but this is a custom build with an associated cost. What LLM Models does your Azure DevOps extension support? Only OpenAI and Azure OpenAI models are supported currently. Which OpenAI model is the best for cost-effective configuration and optimization of this extension? At this time, the new GPT-4o model provides the best balance for cost savings and quality results. Keep in mind that those two attributes trade-off against each other. Does this Azure DevOps extension track or store my data? Our extension does not: Collect any personal information about you, such as your name, email address, or company.Store any information about the work items that you create or edit.Track your browsing activity or any other information about your use of ADO. We can't wait to start using TachyonGPT and want to integrate it with our Azure DevOps environment. But we want to know more about security reviews and compliance standards. If and when a information security event were to occur, what are respective rights and responsibilities of the users and your company? Our extension serves as middleware, connecting Azure DevOps (ADO) with OpenAI's GPT system to enhance work items. It does not store or process sensitive data directly; instead, it leverages existing ADO and OpenAI systems to process requests. As such, any issues that arise would be unlikely to be from the use of the extension itself. I want to use TachyonGPT to generate test cases and user histories, but am wondering about the security of the information within this tool. Is the data encrypted? Does it save in a remote server? TachyonGPT doesn't store any information. The OpenAI configuration info that you entered is stored in the ADO project storage. All interactions between TachyonGPT, Azure DevOps, and OpenAI are processed within the ADO session. No data is ever sent to Neudesic or any other third party. 31xWinner of Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards 2025 Winner Energy & Resources Global Partner of the Year 2,500+Microsoft Certifications Globally 2025 Winner Energy & Resources Global Partner of the Year 31xWinner of Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards 2,500+Microsoft Certifications Globally
